What’s Changing?

After age 35, your body is not the same as it was in your 20’s or early 30’s...

So you can not eat and exercise the same and expect it to do what it did when you were younger!

Here’s why:

☞ You no longer make growth hormone (GH) and begin to lose muscle which means you burn fewer calories and become more insulin resistant.

☞ Women become resistant to the key building block in protein that helps build muscle so they lose even more muscle and become even more insulin resistant.

☞ In women, as estrogen declines (which starts in your 30s in some women) you become even more insulin resistant so you pump out more insulin when you eat carbs (and insulin is a fat-storage hormone).

☞ As a woman’s ovaries retire, they outsource some hormone production to the adrenal glands so you tolerate less stress, leading to higher cortisol levels (cortisol increases insulin resistance).

Do you see a theme here?

We need more muscle (optimal protein intake) and less insulin (lower carb intake).

And meanwhile, we’re over here...

Eating lots of refined carbs.

Going plant-based, and avoiding meat.

Doing tons of cardio.

Staying up late on screens.

Going 100 mph in life.

Drinking booze most nights.

And we’re wondering WTF is happening to our body when our body is working exactly how it is supposed to.

WE are the ones that need to change our lifestyle to meet our body where it is.

Then we can master our metabolism to protect muscle and burn fat!

On Friday, November 10th, at 11 am PST, I am going to tell you exactly how!

In a live masterclass… Protein: The Fountain of Youth!
